a melody that gives me chills 

a song only I can hear

a dream I share with no one

I long to hear this song 

outside of my head

a dream transformed into reality

one that only you can materialize

I yearn to make that sweet melody with you

to sing with you

to play with you

our hopes and wishes becoming one 

a story we could share the rest of our lives

you are like music

something so beautiful

and other worldly that

cannot be deconstructed

your beauty and the feelings that a song bring about

cannot be explained

by my rational mind

it can only be experienced,

loved and appreciated

and if this song can

never be sung in reality,

I will still love and cherish it in my mind alone

never to be heard by anyone else
